Nov. 1947
Our company started as Osaka Kanamono Corporation whose purpose is to sell non-ferrous metal products of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.
Mar. 1948
The corporate name was changed to Osaka Kanamono Shoji Corporation.
Apr. 1967
Following the merger with Kokka Kinzoku Co., Ltd., the corporate name was changed to Izumi Kinzoku Shoji Corporation.
May 1967
Tokyo Branch (currently Tokyo Head Office) was opened.
Nov. 1969
Ashikaga Sales Office (currently Ashikaga Office) was opened.
Oct. 1970
Kusatsu Branch Office (currently Shiga Office) was opened.
Jul. 1975
The corporate name was changed to Sumikei Kinzoku Shoji Co., Ltd. Konagaya Kinzoku Co., Ltd. was absorbed.
Oct. 1985
Nagoya Branch Office (currently Nagoya Sales Office) was opened.
Apr. 1987
A Representative Office was opened in Singapore (which was closed in 1999).
Jul. 1990
The corporate name was changed to Sumikei Shoji Co., Ltd.
Jul. 1990
Sumikeisho Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. (currently UACJ Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) was set up.
Jan. 1995
Kyushu Sales Office was opened (which was closed in 2023).
Jul. 1996
Shanghai Liaison Office was opened.
Jun. 1997
Shanghai Sumikei Trading Co., Ltd. (currently UACJ (SHANGHAI) METAL PRODUCTS & SALES CO.,LTD.） was set up in Shanghai, China.
Nov. 1999
Hong Kong Sumikeisho Trading Co., Ltd. was set up (which was closed in 2021).
Feb. 2003
Our company obtained the ISO 9001 certification at all the offices in Japan.
Apr. 2003
Sumikeisho (Dalian F.T.Z.) Trading Co., Ltd.
(currently UACJ (DALIAN) METAL PRODUCTS & SALES CO.,LTD.) was set up.

Our company obtained the ISO 14001 certification at all the offices in Japan.

Sumikei Shoji (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. (currently UACJ Trading (Kunshan) Metal

Chicago Office was opened.

Our company obtained the AS 9121 certification for the aerospace sector at the Third Osaka Sales Department*. *Specified sales department

Novi Office was opened.

Tianjin Branch Office of UACJ Trading (Dalian. F.T.Z.) Co., Ltd. was opened (which was closed in 2024).

Chengdu Liaison Office of UACJ Trading (Kunshan) Metal Products Co., Ltd. was opened.

Siam UACJ Trading Co., Ltd. was set up.
Jan. 2022
Following the merger of UACJ Trading (America) Co., Ltd. with UACJ Marketing & Processing America, Inc., UACJ Trading & Processing America, Inc. was set up.
Aug. 2023
UACJ Trading Poland Sp. Z O.O. was set up.
Jul. 2024
A Representative Office opened in the Philippines.
