We were established in 1947, to sell the non-ferrous metal products of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.
Since then, we have greatly expanded our services. We have specialized in supplying non-ferrous materials, including high-quality aluminum and copper materials, and have expanded our business to the production of processed items and agency services in procurement and logistics both inside and outside Japan.
Today, we have many domestic and overseas sales and processing bases, and have established our own materials procurement and processing network. We support product manufacturing in various areas, including IT, home appliances, automobiles, and aircraft.
In 2013, following the merger of Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. and Furukawa-Sky Aluminum Corp. we changed our company name to UACJ Trading, and we have developed our business to reach out globally as a core trading company of the UACJ Group.
Under the UACJ Group's motto:"Contribute to society by using raw materials to manufacture products that enhance prosperity and sustainability." the UACJ Group examines all the possibilities of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper. Our ultimate aim is to keep finding the best new sources and processing plants so our customers keep getting the best deals.
Our job moving into the future will be to put more effort into pioneering in energy savings and environmental fields. Further growth is anticipated in these fields, and we expect to begin working with new commercial materials and in new fields, not limiting ourselves to non-ferrous metals, and to devote ourselves to the further development of industry and society.
